Ama A Hagan - Partner

Ama A. Hagan is a Partner at Corporate and Allied Attorneys, a dynamic law firm in Ghana. She is a lawyer called to the Ghana Bar in October 2012. Throughout her career, she honed her skills and gained extensive knowledge of various aspects of corporate and commercial law, corporate governance, data protection, M&A, litigation, and dispute resolution.

Ama has embarked on several projects, such as the Analysis of Forest Community Law and Policies in Ghana (2012), the United Nations Development Program (2012-2013), Training of Forestry Commission staff as Prosecutors (2013), and many others.

Currently, Ama plays a pivotal role as a legal adviser and company secretary at Unilever Ghana PLC. In this capacity, she plays a crucial role in guiding the organization in ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and safeguarding the interests of the company.

Ama has an LLB from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Qualifying Certificate to practice law in Ghana as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana from the Ghana School of Law, and an Executive Master of Business Administration, Finance from the University of Ghana Business School.
