Prince A. Acquaye

Prince is the Managing Partner at Corporate and Allied Attorneys, a dynamic law firm in Ghana. He is a corporate and commercial lawyer, with a special interest in the areas of corporate governance, energy and natural resources, banking and finance.
He has advised and represented clients on high-value transactions, including advising on the establishment of a US$ 3 billion refinery in Ghana; advising a Chinese entity on a US$ 1 billion bauxite mining joint venture with the Government of Ghana; advising on a US$ 500 million railway concession in Ghana; advising on the acquisition of a 47% stake in a major insurance company in Ghana; advising on the merger of two indigenous banks in Ghana; and advising on the acquisition of a majority stake in a Ghanaian bank by a Nigerian bank.
Prince has also advised on several other transactions in the energy, mining, banking, and insurance sectors. He serves on the boards of several companies in Ghana and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
Prince holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
